Casa Navidad
Casa Navidad (Christmas House) is a fantastic little village house - cosy, cute, eclectic, beautifully restored - lovely accommodation and the best bargain in Alhama! The delightful, sunny double height sitting room has a traditional sloping ceiling, an elegant Moroccan banquette with stacks of comfy cushions, antique terracotta floor and a woodburner for those chilly winter evenings.
A flight of stairs leads up to the wooden mezzanine; tucked under the eaves, this cosy little space houses lots of books, DVDs and CDs.
A couple of steps up from the mezzanine, the terrace has a bbq, banquette seating for catching the sun and al fresco dining as well as lovely views over the rooftops of Alhama and the surrounding hills.
There are two comfortable, pretty double bedrooms both with traditional beamed ceilings. The hand-crafted kitchen is modern and stylish and well-equipped for your stay with lots of essentials including teas/coffee, local olive oil, herbs/spices, dried foods and we will leave you a welcome pack to help you settle in and enjoy your holiday.
Casa Navidad has all mod cons including: fans for the summer, extra heaters and firewood for the winter, free wi-fi access 7 Mb/s, a washing machine, four ring hob, electric oven, juicer, instant hot water, linen and towels, etc.
Two doors away from a great little deli/supermarket and only five minutes walk from the centre of historic Alhama and it's stunning limestone gorge, Casa Navidad is very well placed. You'll find lots of useful information in the house including maps, information about the local cuisine, best bars/restaurants, opening times, bus times and even some useful vocabulary to ensure you feel right at home. If you're travelling with a larger group you can book Casa Navidad together with Casa Esquina which is next door - together the two houses sleep up to eight people.
We are offering Casa Navidad at a really special "No To The Credit Crunch" price of 195 euros a week from April to October and Christmas/New Year and only 160 euros a week outside of these times.
